Three Armed Robberies Reported

Four individuals and a 7-Eleven store were robbed.

Three armed robberies were reported in Dale City within two days last week, according to Prince William County Police.

Three men entered the 7-Eleven store at 14797 Darbydale Rd. early Saturday morning and demanded money, while one of the men threatened the cashier with a handgun, police said. The men stole cash and fled the area.

The suspects were described as black men, all between 18 and 22 years old and wearing hooded sweatshirts and ski masks. Two of the men were estimated at 5 feet 10 inches tall and one was estimated to be 6 feet 2 inches tall.

Later Saturday morning, a 51-year-old man was robbed in the 14400 block of Brook Drive. The victim told police that a black male about 5 feet 10 inches tall approached him and threatened him with an unknown weapon. The attacker stole cash and assualted the victim. The victim reported minor injuries.

Three victims reported being robbed on Friday after an attempted shoe sale went bad. Two 15-year-old boys and a 42-year-old man were attempting to sell three pairs of shoes, reportedly worth about $300, on Facebook. They arranged a meeting with a male they did not know in front of a house in the 14700 block of Barksdale Street. When the victims arrived, they were surrounded by a group of men. One of the men threatened them with a handgun and demanded that they hand over the shoes and money. The man with the gun was described as a black male between 16 and 18 years old.
