ReplyThanks, Janelle! Haven't hit panic mode, yet. Every day that passes, I think, "Well surely today Bill will get a job!" He's had interviews, phone calls, email and contingency letters, but no solid offer, yet.

ReplyI am such a fan of Pat and Bill Hutzler! Our Dale City Lions Club meets there the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays each month and we have dinner before the meeting. The menu is varied, the food delicious and the staff is outstanding!
The Hutzlers are part of the fabric of our community and the Ice Center is one of the things that makes Dale City shine!

Hi Joe,
Those charges of resisting arrest and assaulting an officer would remain, wouldn't they? -

ReplyUmmm...I could be mistaken, but neither of them appear to be demonstrating the proper amount of concern for such serious charges?

That's a very interesting perspective, Thomas. I don't think the state of Virginia is ready for decriminalization, though. I agree, if we're looking to save money by cutting DORM, we certainly could save a lot more if drugs weren't illegal in the first place.

Thanks, Don...I'm certain if anyone knows the value of this program, it is you and your fellow officers.
To get this funding reinstated is no small task. It will take a lot of people writing their supervisors and showing up at the BOCS meetings. The outcry needs to be loud and frequent. Nothing changes if there is no push from the public to make a change. -

Thanks, Al. I think there are more people out here, out of work than most folks realize. On the plus side, I did read that national debt accrual is actually slowing down. Now the government is concerned because the population isn't borrowing enough money to float the boat!
