I have been a resident of Northern Virginia since 1974 (or between overseas assignments) and of Prince William County, Virginia since 1988.  I currently live in a log cabin in the County's Semi-Rural Region (SRR or "Mid-County).  This area is protected as part of the Occoquan watershed as its environmental health directly effects Northern Virginia's drinking water. 

I spent twenty-two years in the Regular Army followed by another fifteen in the local System Integration community.  I currently focus on the Alborn foundation (I am the President and Principal) and spend my time looking for ways to serve my community. 

I am a naturalist, a sportsman and am very interested in environmental issues.  If I'm not working for the Foundation, you'll find me wandering around Northern Virginia or the Appalachian Trail with a fly rod or a camera (or perhaps both).
