Police Seek Man Wanted for Malicious Wounding

A 28-year-old woman reported that Kiajual Barshawn Dunlap, 28, of Temple Hills, MD, assaulted her.

A Woodbridge woman reported that an acquaintance assaulted her and tried to pull a gun during the struggle. Prince William County Police are asking for the public's help to find him.  Kiajual Barshawn Dunlap, 28, of Temple Hills, MD, is wanted for malicious wounding. He is described as a black male about 156 pounds, six feet tall, with black dreadlocks, brown eyes and a thin build (photo at right is from May 2011).  The 28-year-old woman reported on Oct. 24 at 4:49 p.m. that she and Dunlap were on the 2500 block of Chadwick Court in Lake Ridge, when they began to argue. Police: Man Struck Acquaintance With Shovel

Lou Yi, 52, of the 4400 block of Island Place in Annandale, was charged with malicious wounding.

Prince William County Police said an Annandale man was charged with malicious wounding after he struck an acquaintance with a shovel during an argument.  Lou Yi, 52, of Island Place in Annandale, was charged with malicious wounding in relation to an incident that took place on the 2300 block of Mizzen Place in Lake Ridge.  The 52-year-old victim reported on Oct. 13 at 1 a.m. that he was involved in an argument with Yi that escalated. Yi allegedly picked up a shovel and struck the victim in the leg, Officer Jonathan Perok, a spokesman for the Prince William County Police Department, said in a news release. Woman Arrested on Malicious Wounding Charges

Doretha Wright, 62, of Dale City, was charged with two counts of malicious wounding.

A Dale City woman is accused of cutting two acquaintances with a knife on Wednesday, Prince William County Police said.  Doretha Wright, 62, of the 13600 block of Kerrydale Road in Dale City, was charged with two counts of malicious wounding. Police responded to a report of a fight on Oct. 10 at 8:30 a.m. near Kerrydale Road and Dale Boulevard. A 39-year-old man and a 68-year-old woman told police they were in the area when they started to argue with Wright over an ongoing dispute.  "During the encounter, the accused pulled out a knife from her vehicle and cut both victims to the upper body," Officer Jonathan Perok, a police spokesperson, said in a press release.  The two victims were treated at the scene for minor injuries. Teen Arrested on Malicious Wounding Charges

The unidentified 17-year-old male allegedly stabbed the victim with a piece of broken ceramic, police said.

Prince William County Police said that a teenager was arrested Wednesday after he allegedly stabbed a family member.  The unidentified 17-year-old male was arguing with a 53-year-old male family member when the incident started.  "During the encounter, the accused assaulted the victim which knocked both of them to the ground," police spokesperson Officer Jonathan Perok described the incident in a press release. "Once on the ground, the accused grabbed a piece of a broken ceramic bowl and stabbed the victim."  The victim went to a neighbor's house and called the police. He was treated at a hospital for non-life-threatening injuries to his hand.  The teenager was arrested without incident and charged with malicious wounding.

Dumfries Man Charged With Malicious Wounding

Farooq Chaudhary, 22, of Dumfries, was charged with domestic assault and battery and malicious wounding.

Prince William County Police said last week that a Dumfries man cut an acquaintance, then assaulted a family member after she tried to intervene.  Farooq Chaudhary, 33, of Larkin Dr. in Dumfries, was charged with malicious wounding and assault and battery. Police responded on Oct. 3 at 1:04 a.m. to the 17100 block of Larkin Dr. in Dumfries. Chaudhary and a "known accquaintance," a 35-year-old woman, were involved in an argument that escalated. Chaudhary grabbed a knife and swung it at the woman, cutting her, police said.  A 45-year-old woman—a family member—attempted to intervene, and Chaudhary allegedly knocked her down. Woodbridge Man Charged With Stabbing Another Man in the Hand

He was also charged with assaulting a 44-year-old Woodbridge woman.

Police have charged Woodbridge resident Justin Veney, 47, with malicious wounding and assault and battery after a 22-year-old Woodbridge man was reportedly stabbed in the hand and a 44-year-old Woodbridge woman was reportedly punched in the face, Prince William County police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said.  Police initially responded on Sept. 14 at 8:14 a.m. to the 14300 block of Bellona Road for a domestic incident. Dale City Man Charged With Striking Woodbridge Woman in the Face

The incident reportedly happend Sept. 13.

Police have charged Dale City resident Jose Rico Jr., with malicious wounding after a Woodbridge woman said she had been hit in the face, Prince William County police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said.  Police responded to Minnieville and Elm Farm roads on Sept. 14 at 3:13 p.m. for a report of a domestic incident.  "The victim, a 26-year-old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that on Sept. 13, she and the accused, a known acquaintance, were driving in the area above when a verbal altercation ensued," Perok said. "At one point, the accused stopped the vehicle and struck the victim in the face." After an investigation, police got an arrest warrant for Rico and arrested him on Sept. 15. Dale City Woman Charged With Cutting Man's Arm, Torso With Glass

An 18-year-old man was reportedly injured.

Police charged Dale City resident Erika Thomas with malicious wounding after a Woodbridge man told police that he had been cut in the arm and torso with a piece of glass, Prince William County police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said.  Police responded to Filarete Street and Feiss Court on Sept. 13 at 5 p.m. for a reported assault.  "The victim, an 18-year-old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation, in the street, which escalated," Perok said. Woodbridge Man Charged With Striking Man With Glass Bottle

The accused is an acquaintance of the victim.

On Aug. 29, Sean Mulcahy was charged with malicious wounding after he turned himself into police, Prince William County police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said.  Early in the morning of Aug. 28, a 20-year-old Woodbridge man in the 1400 block of Flagship Drive was reportedly assaulted by an acquaintance and struck with a glass bottle.  "The victim, a 20-year-old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he was visiting a friend at their address in the area above," Perok said. Woodbridge Man Reportedly Beaten by Two Unknown Men

Police are investigating the reported malicious wounding of a Woodbridge man by two unknown assailants, Prince William County Police Public Information Officer Jonathan Perok said.  The assault reportedly occurred on Aug. 15 shortly after midnight. Police responded at 12:27 a.m. to the 2600 block of Oak Valley Drive in Woodbridge.  "The victim, an 18-year-old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he was involved in a verbal altercation with two unknown men which escalated," Perok said.
