Man Stabbed During Argument in Woodbridge

The 22-year-old victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

A Woodbridge man was stabbed during an argument with two unknown men Saturday, according to Prince William County Police.  Police said that the 22-year-old victim and two friends were involved in a "verbal altercation" with two unknown men on the 2000 block of Daniel Stuart Square. During the argument, one of the men pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim in the upper body, police said.  The suspects fled on foot after the assault, and the victim was taken to a local hospital, where the police were called around 12:10 a.m. The victim's injuries were not life-threatening, police said.  The first suspect was described as white, 20-30 years old, with a heavy build. Police: Stranger Struck Man in the Face

Prince William County Police are looking for the man, who fled on foot after assaulting the victim.

A pedestrian sustained a "significant injury" to his face after an unknown man struck him on Jefferson Davis Highway on Sunday evening, Prince William County Police said.  The 31-year-old victim was walking on the 13900 block of Jefferson Davis Highway when the unknown man approached him, then struck him. After the suspect fled on foot, the victim chased after him. He was unable to catch up, though.  The suspect was last seen getting into a vehicle and leaving the area. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment.  Police are looking for a white male between 40-50 years old, 5'6", with a thin build. No further description was available.

Police: Man Stabbed at Water's Edge in Woodbridge

The victim could not describe his attacker to Prince William County Police.

A man was reportedly stabbed by an unknown person at 12:50 a.m. on March 30 at Water's Edge at 13188 Marina Way in Woodbridge, Prince William County Police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said.  Police responded to the restaurant for the report of a stabbing. "The victim, a 25-year-old man of Alexandria, reported to police that he was inside the establishment when he was pushed by an unknown person," Perok said. "After the encounter, the victim realized that he was bleeding from his side." The victim's injury was minor and he was treated at a nearby hospital. He was unable to describe his attacker to police.

Suspect in Alexandria Police Shooting Has Long History of Traffic Violations, Other Charges

The Woodbridge taxi driver charged with shooting an Alexandria police officer in the head Wednesday is no stranger to law enforcement. Several Northern Virginia jurisdictions list charges against Kashif Bashir over the past few years — with many of those charges coming at the end of traffic stops similar to the one that ended so violently Wednesday. Alexandria Police Officer Peter Laboy was shot at the corner of S. St. Asaph and Wilkes streets, just outside a school playground and a few blocks from the bustle of King Street in Old Town. Police arrested Bashir after he crashed his taxi in Fairfax County, ending a police chase that started moments after the shooting. Police Looking For Suspects in Belfry Lane Stabbing

The victim reportedly did not know his attackers, according to Prince William County Police.

After a Woodbridge man was stabbed on Belfry Lane, Prince William County Police are looking for two suspects, police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said. Police are looking for two black males, one with dreadlocks. They were last seen wearing dark clothing, masks and gloves. No other description was given.  Police initially responded Feb. 25 at 8:40 p.m. to the 3400 block of Belfry Lane for a stabbing. "The victim, a 30-year-old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he was walking in the area above when he was approached by two unknown, masked men," Perok said. I've been in the area now for 27 years now and although violent crime has always occurred, it was mostly a targeted attack, meaning the victim/s and criminal/s knew each other. The last 2 seem to be crimes of opportunity to unknown victims. Random violent crime is a bit scary and concerns me a lot. Police: Officer Nearly Injured By Suspect's Car

Man arrested after Manassas Home Depot incident, according to Prince William County Police.

Police arrested a Woodbridge man after a police officer was nearly injured on Feb. 18, Prince William County police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said.  Jeffrey Brian Frye, 40, was charged with attempted malicious wounding of an officer, attempted grand larceny, felony eluding, reckless driving and driving on a suspended license. His court date and bond information is unavailable. Police initially responded Feb. 18 to the Home Depot at 7486 Stream Walk Lane in Manassas for shoplifting and grand larceny. Police: Man Struck With Beer Bottle at Woodbridge Seafood Restaurant

The Alexandria man was reportedly attacked from behind while at Water's Edge in Woodbridge, according to Prince William County Police.

An Alexandria man is wanted for malicious wounding after another Alexandria man reported being struck in the face with with a beer bottle at Water's Edge in Woodbridge, Prince William County police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said.  Police initially responded to the restaurant at 1:37 a.m. Saturday for a reported fight. "The victim, a 26-year-old man of Alexandria, reported to police that he was inside the establishment when he was approached by an unknown man, later identified as the accused," Perok said. Police: Man Assaulted Officers, Made a Commotion After Arrest

Jason Michael Batchelder, 29, of Woodbridge, is charged with several violations, police said.

A Woodbridge man faces multiple charges after he allegedly assaulted an officer and resisted arrest, Prince William County Police said.  Jason Michael Batchelder, 29, of Minnieville Road, is charged with malicious wounding, domestic assault and battery, destruction of property, attempted destruction of property, resisting arrest, intoxication in public and two counts of assault and battery on a law enforcement officer.  Police said that they were called around 12:46 p.m. Dec. 2 to Minnieville Road for a report of a fight. Police: Robber Stole Teen's Shoes, Arranged Meeting on Facebook

Saif Waheed Mirza, 19, of Woodbridge, was charged with robbery, malicious wounding and assault and battery. Police are still looking for a second accomplice.

Update: Police have clarified that only the robbery and assault and battery charges are in connection with this incident. Mirza was charged with robbery and malicious wounding in connection with a separate incident. A second suspect was also charged.  A robber stole two pairs of shoes, worth $320, from a teenager that he met online, Prince William County Police said.  Saif Waheed Mirza (a.k.a. Police: Suspect Let Dog Loose to Attack Teen

Police are looking for the man who unhooked his dog during an argument with the victim.

A man got into an argument with a Woodbridge teenager, then took his dog off the leash to attack him, Prince William County Police said.  An 18-year-old male reported on Oct. 28 at 2:13 p.m. that he was walking in the area of the 12700 block of Colby Drive in Lake Ridge, when an unknown man approached him. The man, who was walking a dog, began to argue with the teenager. He then unhooked the dog, which may have been a pit bull.  The dog chased the victim to a nearby playground and unsuccessfully tried to bite him several times, according to police. The victim and the dog began to struggle, and the dog eventually ran back to the owner. The victim had minor scratches from the incident.  Police are looking for a male between 20-30 years old, …
