Porter Traditional School Leads 2012 Schools of Excellence List
The Woodbridge school earned a perfect score of 100.
Porter Traditional School in Woodbridge is one of three county schools leading the 2012 Schools of Excellence list, after it earned a perfect score of 100. Mountain View Elementary School in Haymarket and Victory Elementary School in Bristow also achieved perfect scores. The Prince William County School Board honored 40 schools in the annual school awards program. "A School of Excellence must be fully accredited by the state, meet Virginia academic Annual Measurable Objectives, and achieve an overall score of 90 out of 100 points on PWCS Strategic Plan-based measures," a PWCS release read.
