Prince William County Police were responding to a domestic dispute. No injuries were reported.
Prince William County Police arrested a Woodbridge woman Thursday night after she allegedly struck an officer, according to PWCPD spokesperson Officer Jonathan Perok. Genet Kibert, 47, of Winding Loop, was charged with assault and battery of a law enforcement officer and resisting arrest. Her court date is set for July 8 and she was released on personal recognizance. Officers responded at 8:46 p.m. Thursday to the 14700 block of Winding Loop for a domestic dispute. According to Perok, Kibert was intoxicated and agitated during the course of the investigation and struck an officer in the chest. As officers were attempted to arrest Kibert, she reportedly resisted, but was eventually detained. No injuries were reported, according to Perok.

A Triangle man is facing several charges after failing to stop for a traffic violation, according to Prince William County Police spokesperson Jonathan Perok. James Robert Johnson Jr., 32, of the 3600 block of Wharf Lane, Triangle, is charged with reckless driving, felony eluding, driving on a suspended license, possession of marijuana and resisting arrest. At 7:47 p.m. Wednesday, a PWCPD officer was attempting to make a stop of Johnson's vehicle near the intersection of Old Triangle Road and Soundview Circle in Triangle. Johnson allegedly ignored the officer's lights and siren and continued driving on the wrong side of Graham Park Road, according to Perok. A Triangle man is charged with the assault, according to Prince William County Police.
Prince William County Police have charged Triangle resident Joseph Nathanael Williams, 24, with assaulting a police officer after the officer was reportedly assaulted at Tacketts Mill Shopping Center on March 2, police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said. The officer was reportedly patrolling the shopping center at 2219 Old Bridge Road at about 9:15 p.m. on March 2 when he found Williams, determined that he was wanted, and tried to arrest him. "At that point, the accused pushed one of the officers and fled on foot," Perok said. "Following a short foot pursuit, the accused was apprehended without further incident." No one was injured.
