Alcohol-related Accident Victims Remembered
December 11 marked the Annual Tree Trimming Day of Remembrance at the Prince William County complex
At first glance, the lobby of the James J. McCoart building was festively decorated for the holiday season this past Saturday afternoon. Closer inspection, however, revealed that Christmas trees outside the Board Chamber doors were decorated with care. Each bulb and ornament represented an alcohol related accident or fatality that occurred this past year in Prince William County. December 11 marked the 24th Annual Tree Trimming Day of Remembrance sponsored by Prince William County Community Service, Mothers Against Drunk Driving, Washington Regional Alcohol Program (WRAP), and PW Substance Abuse Prevention Taskforce.
