Police: Man Wanted For Strangulation Attempt
Prince William County Police have warrants for the arrest of Edward Jemar Jennings of Woodbridge.
Woodbridge resident Edward Jemar Jennings is wanted for strangulation, domestic assault and battery, and preventing the summoning of police after a Dumfries woman reported being knocked to the ground and choked, Prince William County Police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said. Police initially responded to Morgan Court in Dumfries on April 17 at 4:25 a.m. for the report of a domestic incident. "The victim, a 43-year-old woman of Dumfries, reported to police that she and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated," Perok said.
