Prince William County Police are still looking for the suspect.
Police are looking for a man who reportedly attempted to rob an Exxon Service Station at 13000 Worth Avenue at knifepoint, Prince William County Police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said. Police initially responded at 6:15 p.m. on March 29 for the report of an attempted robbery. "An employee reported to police that an unknown man entered the business, displayed a knife, and demanded money," Perok said. "The employee began to scream, at which point, the man fled the store on foot." No one was injured and no money was stolen. Police are looking for a white male between 30 and 35 years old, about 5-foot-10, 170 pounds, of a medium build with black, thinning hair, and an unshaven face. Incident near Dumfries Road and Jefferson Davis Highway, according to Prince William County Police.
Prince William County Police detectives are searching for two men after an armed robbery late Saturday in Dumfries, according to police spokesperson Jonathan Perok. Police responded at 11:52 p.m. to the area of Dumfries Road and Jefferson Davis Highway. The victim, 21, of Annandale, told police that he'd arranged to meet a man in the area to purchase cell phones. "When the victim arrived, the man did not have the property," Perok said. "The victim then attempted to leave, at which point, a second unknown man approached the victim and displayed a handgun." The victim ran from the two men and called 9-1-1. No injuries were reported and no property was taken, according to Perok. The suspects were described as two black males:

Suspect with a baseball bat attempted to steal night deposit, according to Prince William County Police.
Police are looking for a man who reportedly attempted to rob the Dollar Tree at 13345 Worth Ave in Woodbridge, Prince William County Police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said. Police initially responded to the Dollar Tree on March 7 at 10:35 p.m. for a reported attempted robbery. "An employee reported to police that he just closed the business and was walking to his vehicle in the parking lot with the night deposit when he was approached by an unknown man," Perok said. "The suspect was holding a bat and demanded the money. A physical altercation ensued between the employee and the suspect. Following a brief struggle, the accused fled the area on foot." Police have charged three Woodbridge man and one Arlington man after a reported drug-related attempted armed robbery the night of March 6, Prince William County Police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said. Woodbridge residents Jackson Arthur Cristler, 18, Daniel Joseph Moore, 18, Christopher David Johnson, 19, and Arlington resident Troy Lamont Morris, 21 were arrested that night. Despite threatening his alleged victims at gunpoint, a man that reportedly entered an occupied car in Dale City on Christmas Eve still failed to rob the two occupants, Prince William County police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said. The victims, both 19-year-old Woodbridge men, told police that they were driving down Lynhurst Drive, and pulled over in the area of 13700 Lynhurst Drive. As the vehicle sat there, a strange man reportedly got into the back seat of the car, pulled out a handgun, and demanded money. The alleged attempted robbery failed, however, Perok said. Andre Solmon Patterson, 46, was charged with attempted armed robbery.
Police dispatched a K-9 Sunday night after an armed robber held up a Shell Gas Station. Andre Solmon Patterson, 46, of no fixed address, was charged with attempted armed robbery. Employees at the station on 2990 Dale Boulevard reported that an unknown man entered the store, showed a knife and demanded money. The man did not take anything and fled on foot after a customer entered the store. The suspect did not take any money. Officers responded to the incident at 9:25 p.m. and dispatched a K-9. Officers located Patterson on Gideon Drive, near the PRTC Terminal. They detained him without incident. Patterson's court date is set for Jan. 16. He was held without bond.
