One of the oldest churches in the area, Dale City Baptist Church is a member of the Southern Baptist Conservatives of Virginia. The church began as a small group that started meeting at a school in 1968, and in the '70s broke ground on a building of their own. Pastor Perry Jordan has led the congregation since 1999.
