Why go: Bring your chairs, blankets and friends to this free concert as part of a series offered by Micron Technology and the City of Manassas. Saturday SummerSounds concert features bagpipers and Celtic dancers; for details call 703-330-2787.

What/When: 3-2-1 Art Exhibit. Saturday & Sunday,

Where: Creative Brush Studio, ArtBeat Gallery, Persnickety Cakes, Manassas 

Why go: “Vistors are invited to stroll from location to location, which are within a block of each other on Center Street in Old Town Manassas,” according to Historic Manassas.  The exhibit commemorates the 1 50thanniversary of the Civil war.

What/When: River Shore Charters from Occoquan, Saturday

Where: Occoquan Regional Park and the Wharf in Occoquan

Why go: Enjoy the Occoquan River scenery and maybe see some wildlife including ospreys and eagles.

Pricing: Tickets are available online: $10 for adults, $5 for kids, pets ride for free. 



What/When: , Saturday, 7:30 p.m. 
Where: Paradise Springs Winery, Clifton

Why Go: Get cozy with a blanket while you enjoy the movie “Bottle Shock” under the stars.  Bottles of wine will be for sale, as well as a limited assortment of meats and cheeses.  Adults only, please.
