Hylton Girls' Soccer Shuts Out Freedom

Hylton's win was team's fifth straight.

Goalkeepers Dani Nonaka and Maddi Mailes combined their efforts to deny the Freedom Eagles a single goal as the Hylton High School girls' soccer team completed their sixth shutout of the season with an 8-0 victory Friday night.

The win was the fifth straight for Hylton and the third in as many days, bringing their record to 6-4-2 for the season. It was also Hylton's largest margin of victory this season.

Hughes, a sophomore midfielder, also had two assists, and Carmen Suarez, Ally Ramos, and Lindsay Tacaraya each had one assist.
