High School Informational Meetings Thursday
A financial aid meeting will be held at Gar-Field High School, while Hylton High School will hold an information night for its specialty programs.
Two informational meetings will be happening at local high schools Thursday, one geared toward current middle school students looking toward high school and one for current high school students looking to college.
is holding an information night for its specialty programs, the , TV Production, and Auto Tech. The program will begin at 7:00 p.m. and is open to all interested Prince William County eighth, ninth and tenth grade students and their parents.
High school students in Eastern Prince William County are invited to come to Gar-Field High School for a financial aid information program. Felice Douglas-Rollins, director of The College Place, will help students understand what they need to know about financial aid for college. The program will begin at 7:00 p.m. Thursday.

Students and parents can also get help filling out the federal financial aid application at a workshop at Hylton next week. The workshop will be available at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 17 and 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 18.
