The following comes from the Prince William County Police. Where arrests or charges are mentioned it does not indicate a conviction.

Prince William County Police have arrested and charged a Woodbridge man with armed robbery using a firearm in commission of a felony.

Police reports said that an 18-year-old Dumfries man told police he made arrangements to meet with a known acquaintance in the 5300 block of Dale Boulevard on Thursday.

"Once there, the victim got into a vehicle occupied by the known acquaintance, later identified as the accused," police reports state. "Once inside the accused displayed a handgun and demanded money. During the encounter, a struggle ensued and the victim was able to get the firearm away from the accused and flee the vehicle."
