Woman Walking Dog Reports Attempted Abduction

The victim said that an unknown man grabbed her shoulder, but she was able to pull away.

A woman was out walking her dog Saturday morning when a man reportedly tried to abduct her, Prince William County Police said. 

Police responded to the incident at 8:27 a.m. to the incident on the 13960 block of Jefferson Davis Highway in Woodbridge, just behind the Rodeway Inn. The 46-year-old woman reported that she was walking her dog in the lot adjacent to the rear of the Inn when an unknown man approached her. He grabbed her shoulder, but she was able to pull away. The man fled without saying a word. 

The victim did not report any injuries.

The suspect was described as a male between 30 and 35 years old, Hispanic, about 5'7", around 175-180 pounds, with shoulder-length, unkempt hair and an unshaven face. He was last seen wearing a lime green jacket with blue lining around the neckline, black pants, red hooded sweatshirt and light-colored cowboy boots.
