Woman Charged With Assaulting Officer

Mylesha Nichole Bey, 21, of Woodbridge, was charged after she allegedly spat at an officer and struck another on the face, police said.

A Woodbridge woman was charged after she reportedly struck a Prince William County Police officer and spat at another, police said. 

Mylesha Nichole Bey, 21, of Bakersfield Street in Woodbridge, was charged with two counts of assault and batter on a law enforcement officer and disorderly conduct. She was held without bond.

Employees at the 7-Eleven on Dale Boulevard in Dale City called police at 2:23 p.m. Nov. 23, after they saw that Bey "had blood on her face and sweatshirt and was acting strangely," Officer Jonathan Perok, a spokesman for the department, said in a press release.

"Officers arrived at the location and the accused became increasingly agitated and disorderly," Perok said in the release. 

After officers detained Bey, she allegedly spat at one and struck another in the face, Perok said. Minor injuries were reported.
