Three Men Assault Victim, Steal Cell Phone

An unknown woman may also been involved, police said.

Three men recently assaulted a Woodbridge man and stole his cell phone, and another person, a woman, may have been involved in coordinating the attack, Prince William County Police said. 

On Dec. 14 at 9:54 p.m., a man reported that he was walking with an unknown woman on the 1400 block of Bayside Avenue in Woodbridge when a vehicle approached. The 37-year-old Woodbridge man reported that three unknown men got out of vehicle, approached him, and then assaulted him. They then stole his cell phone. 

"The unknown woman also fled with the men and may have been connected to the robbery," Officer Jonathan Perok, a spokesman for the police department, said in a press release.

The victim reported minor injuries. He was only able to describe one of the assailants and the woman. 

The woman was described as white, 18-22 years old, about five feet tall, with green eyes, a thin build and shoulder length hair.She was wearing blue jeans and a gray hooded sweatshirt.

The man was described as black, 18-22 years old, about 5'5", thin build, with short hair. He was wearing a white shirt and black jacket.
