Small Brush Fire Leaves No Damage

Dale City Volunteer Fire Department firefighters put out a brush fire behind houses on Regent Court Tuesday afternoon.

A brush fire in the woods behind houses on Regent Court burned about a quarter of an acre on Tuesday afternoon, but no homes were damaged and there were no injuries.

Firefighters from arrived on the scene at about 3:00 p.m., according to Capt. Steve Barr, who said they had the fire out within about 10 minutes.

A fire engine from the Dumfries Triangle Volunteer Fire Department arrived soon afterwards and supplied additional water to the Dale City crew.
