Robbers Punch Victim in the Face, Steal Computer Bag

Officers were unable to find the two men who stole the items.

Two men robbed and assaulted a victim in the Dumfries area Thursday evening, Prince William County Police said. 

The 23‐year old male victim reported at 7:30 p.m. that he was walking on Wayside Drive, near Jefferson Davis Highway, when two men assaulted him. They punched him in the face and then stole his computer bag, which contained personal documents. The two ran off toward Mountain Laurel Loop. 

The first suspect was described as 25-30 years old, black, about 6 feet tall, with a muscular build. He was wearing gray sweatpants and a grey and black hoodie.

The second suspect was described as 20-30 years old, about 5'5" tall, black, with a thin build. He was wearing a black stocking cap and a red and a heavy black coat.
