Robber Strikes Dumfries Woman on Head With Gun
The woman was walking around her neighborhood with an acquaintance when an unknown man stole her cell phone.
An armed robber struck a Dumfries woman across the head with a gun after stealing her cell phone, Prince William County Police said.
The 19-year-old victim reported that she was walking around her neighborhood, Kenton Circle, with a male acquaintance on Nov. 24, at 11:25 p.m., when an unknown man approached them. The man pulled out a handgun and then demanded money from her acquaintance. He then grabbed the victim's cell phone and struck her on the head with a gun. He then fled on foot.
No injuries were reported. Police do not believe anything was taken from the woman's acquaintance.
