Police: Woman Stabbed Acquaintance in the Hand

A Woodbridge woman allegedly stabbed an acquaintance in the hand after an argument escalated, Prince William County Police said. 

Roxy Michelle Guandique, 23, of 14300 block of Jeffries Road in Woodbridge, is charged with unlawful wounding. 

Police responded on Tuesday at 9:26 a.m. to the 14300 block of Jeffries Road, where a 23-year-old man claimed that Guandique had stabbed him in the hand. The two had been involved in an argument that escalated, police said. The victim told police he got the knife away from the suspect. He sustained minor injuries. 

Following her arrest, Guandique was released on a $2,000 unsecured bond.
