Police Updates: School Buses Vandalized; Stolen Shoes

Police updates for March 29.

Prince William County Police are seeking information after three school buses at Hylton High School were vandalized on Monday.

Police said two of the buses had their fire extinguishers discharged throughout the inside of the buses and all of the seats had been cut. The other bus had “derogatory language” scratched into the paint. Staff told police the vandalism had taken place between 7:00 p.m. on Sunday and 5:43 a.m. Monday. Damage and cleanup costs were estimated at $1,050.

Burglary

Nike shoes worth $120 were reported stolen from a home in Dale City on Friday. A homeowner in the 15550 block of Travailer Court told police the shoes were stolen sometime between 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. Police said entry appeared to have been made through a rear patio door.
