Police Updates: Pedestrian Involved in Crash; Armed Robbery

A woman from Triangle was flown to the hospital Saturday after being struck by a car on Minnieville Road. Police said the 46-year-old woman sustained non-life threatening injuries from the accident which occurred near the intersection of Minnieville Road and the Prince William Parkway. 

Police said the woman was crossing Minnieville Road when she was hit by a 1998 Nissan Altima driven by a 17-year-old male from Manassas. No charges were filed in the incident.

Armed Robbery

Police are on the lookout for two men in connection with an armed robbery at the Dollar City Plus in Foulgers Square on Friday. Police said they received a report that two men robbed the store at gunpoint, ordering customers to the ground and taking money and a cell phone from the store clerk.

No one was injured in the incident. The robbers were reported to both be Hispanic males in their mid-20s. One was estimated to be 5-foot-8 and 185 pounds, and was wearing a black jacket, blue jeans and a black hooded sweatshirt. The other was estimated to be 5-foot-7 and 150 pounds, and was wearing a black ski mask along with blue jeans and a black hooded jacket.
