Police Updates: Malicious Wounding, Burglary

Police updates for Tuesday, Aug. 2. The following information was supplied by the Prince William County police department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, they do not indicate a conviction.

A Dale City man is wanted in connection with what police called a malicious wounding after a domestic fight on Saturday.

Police said that Silvio Javier Mendoza Logo, 39, of the 14800 block of Ensor Circle, grabbed a 42 year old woman as she tried to get away from him, causing the woman to fall down a stairway.

Police said Mendoza Logo and the woman were in an argument that escalated when the woman tried to get away from Mendoza Logo by going upstairs. After the incident, Mendoza Logo left the scene and police were unable to locate him.

The victim was taken to the hospital for her injuries. Mendoza Logo is wanted for malicious wounding. Police described him as a hispanic male, 6 feet tall and 210 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

Burglary

A TV worth around $2,000 was reported stolen from a home in the 13200 block of Nickelson Drive on Friday. The homeowner told police that the burglary had occurred between 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. Police said a rear sliding glass door had been broken out.
