Police: Third Brother Tied to Dumfries Shooting Death

Reginald Keith Tolliver, 38, is charged with first degree murder. Police are still searching for his brothers, Christopher Jonathon Tolliver and Douglas Jason Tolliver.

Prince William County Police on Monday arrested one of three brothers in a Dumfries shooting death case, and are still searching for the other two. 

Reginald Keith Tolliver, 38, of no fixed address, is charged with first degree murder and held without bond at the county jail. Detectives from the Violent Crimes Bureau are still looking for his brothers, Christopher Jonathon Tolliver and Douglas Jason Tolliver, both of Dumfries, in connection with the Jan. 17 shooting death of a Dumfries woman. 

Detectives from the Violent Crimes Unit identified the Tolliver brothers as the suspects in the death of Tasheka Lason Leavell, 35, of Dumfries. Leavell was found dead at the scene on Washington Street from gunshot wounds to the upper body.

Police said that Christopher Tolliver and Douglas Tolliver were acquainted with the victim and should both be considered armed and dangerous. 

Investigators have classified the case as a murder. The investigation continues.
