Police: Stabbing, Break-in in Darbydale 'Not Random'

Detectives are working on identifications of the suspects.

Prince William County Police are still working on leads and identification of suspects in Tuesday night's stabbing in the Darbydale section of Dale City.

According to a post on the police department's Facebook page, the victim and the suspects knew one another. 

"Detectives are working on identifications," said the post. "At this time, there is no threat to the public."

Police responded to Del Mar Drive in Dale City Tuesday night for the incident and were looking for two black males said to be driving a 1990s white Buick Regal four-door sedan.

"Victim, an adult male, has been flown out. Unknown extent of injuries. Suspects reportedly broke into the victim's residence, stabbed him and took his vehicle," according to police.
