"The driver of the striking vehicle left the scene prior to police arrival," Perok said. "The driver of the vehicle in the hit and run was not involved in the shooting. The victim was flown to an area hospital with life threatening injuries sustained after being hit by the vehicle. On Monday, Nov. 5, the victim died from injuries sustained during the hit and run."

Police are looking for a late model gray Ford pickup truck with an extended cab and tinted windows. The truck sustained minimal damage from the center to the front of the left driver side along the bumper and hood area.
