Police: Man Struck Acquaintance With Shovel
Lou Yi, 52, of the 4400 block of Island Place in Annandale, was charged with malicious wounding.
Prince William County Police said an Annandale man was charged with malicious wounding after he struck an acquaintance with a shovel during an argument.
Lou Yi, 52, of Island Place in Annandale, was charged with malicious wounding in relation to an incident that took place on the 2300 block of Mizzen Place in Lake Ridge.
The 52-year-old victim reported on Oct. 13 at 1 a.m. that he was involved in an argument with Yi that escalated. Yi allegedly picked up a shovel and struck the victim in the leg, Officer Jonathan Perok, a spokesman for the Prince William County Police Department, said in a news release. The victim had minor injuries and was taken to a hospital.

Yi was arrested without incident and will appear in court on Nov. 20. He was held without bond.
