Police: Man Sexually Assaulted Dale City Teenager

The 15-year-old victim said that the man claimed to work for the cable company, and later pulled out a knife.

A man posed as a cable worker to try and get inside a Dale City teenager's home—and when that didn't work, the man threatened her until she let him inside, where he sexually assaulted her.

Prince William County Police are searching for the man, who knocked on the 15-year-old victim's door on the 4400 block of Echo Court Monday afternoon. The victim said the man claimed to work for the cable company and asked for a person who did not reside at the home. After the teenager told him that no one by that name lived at the address, the man left.

He came back a short time later and this time threatened that he would hurt her if she did not let him inside.
