Police Investigating Stabbing in Darbydale Neighborhood

A victim has been flown out for his injuries.

Update, 11:08 p.m.: 

The Prince William County Police Department has stated that this incident is not random, according to a post on their Facebook page

"The suspects and victim knew one another," the post read. "Detectives are working on identifications. At this time, there is no threat to the public."

Update, 10:51 p.m.:

Police are looking for two black males in connection with the stabbing earlier this evening, a Prince William County Police Department Facebook post reported. Both are reported to be about 6 feet tall and of slim builds. One of the men was described as wearing a green shirt, black pants, and the other man was described as wearing all black clothing.

Police are also looking for an older 1990's white Buick Regal four-door sedan.

"Residents can expect police to be in the area for some time as the investigation continues," the post read. "It is unknown if this incident is between known acquaintances."

Police and detectives are on Del Mar Drive in the Darbydale section of Dale City working on investigating a stabbing, according to an item posted on the Prince William County Police Department's Facebook page just before 10 p.m. Tuesday.

"Victim, an adult male, has been flown out. Unknown extent of injuries. Suspects reportedly broke into the victims residence, stabbed him and took his vehicle," according to the post.

Police said Tuesday night that the suspects are possibly in a white Buick Regal.

No further information was available regarding the incident.
