Police Investigating Armed Robbery in Dale City

Police said an unknown man displayed a shotgun and demanded money.

Prince William County Police are looking for a white male that allegedly robbed two Woodbridge 19-year-olds on Tuesday night.

Police public information officer Jonathan Perok said in a release that two people were in the area of Kenwood and Kenmar drives in Dale City to meet a known acquaintance when they were reportedly approached by an unknown man who displayed a shotgun and demanded money.

"The man took both victims cell phones and an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency before fleeing the area," said Perok in the release. "After the incident, the victims drove to the police station to report the incident to police. No injuries were reported. This incident does not appear to be random."

Police responded to the area above at 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday. 

A police investigation continues. Police are on the lookout for a white male, between 17 and 21 years old, 5-foot-7, 185 pounds, of medium build with short black hair and an unshaven appearance.

Police said the man was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, gray pants and a white skull mask.
