Police: Fredericksburg Man Chased Woodbridge Victim With Machete

A Fredericksburg man faces charges after he chased a victim with a machete during an argument, Prince William County Police said.
Bahram Bahramipanah, 50, of Bellehaven Court, is charged with brandishing a machete.
Police said that Bahramipanah and a 19-year-old Woodbridge man—who were strangers to one another—began to argue around 8:42 a.m. Friday on the 13900 block of Jefferson Davis Highway in Woodbridge. When the dispute escalated, Bahramipanah grabbed a machete out of his car and chased the victim, police said. The victim was not injured.

Bahramipanah was arrested following an investigation. He was released on a summons.
