Police Dispatch K-9 in Armed Robbery Case

Three unknown men entered a Citgo Convenience Store and demanded money, police said.

Police are searching for three men who reportedly robbed a Citgo Convenience Store at gunpoint on Tuesday. 

Prince William County Police said that the three men entered the store in the 14000 block of Jefferson Davis Hwy Jefferson Davis Highway in Woodbridge, displayed a handgun and demanded money. Police said after the men stole an undisclosed amount of money, they fled on foot. When police responded to the robber at 8:48 p.m., they dispatched a K-9 to help search for them. They did not find any suspects. 

No one reported any injuries. Officer Jonathan Perok, a spokesperson for the department, said in a press release that police will release surveillance photos once they are available.

The armed robber was described as a black male, between 19-23 years of age, with a medium build, about six feet tall and weighing 170 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black half mask, blue jeans and a black jacket.

The second man was described as about six feet tall, black, between 19-23 years old, medium build, and was last seen wearing a black jacket with a hood, black half mask and blue jeans.

The third man was black, between 19-23 years old, about 5-foot-11, with a medium build, about 170 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black jacket with a hood, black half mask, blue jeans and possibly white gloves.
