Police: Man Wanted For Assault, Burglary in Dale City

The incident reportedly happened after a previous encounter, Prince William County Police said.

A man is wanted after reportedly entering a Dale City home of an acquaintance without an invitation and assaulting the resident, Prince William County Police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said.

Timothy Racen Brown, 21, of Dale City is wanted for burglary with intent to commit assault. Police initially responded to Tarpon Lane on April 10 at 1:11 a.m. for the report of an assault.

"The victim, a 24-year-old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that the accused, a known acquaintance, entered his residence uninvited and proceeded to assault him," Perok said. "The altercation continued outside of the residence where another occupant was able to separate the two parties. The accused fled the area on foot prior to police arrival. The altercation appeared to have stemmed from a previous encounter between the two men."

The victim reported minor injuries. After an investigation, a warrant was issued for Brown's arrest.

Brown is described as a black man, 5-foot-9, 140 pounds, with a thin build, short, black cornrows, and brown eyes. The attached photo is from June 2012.

The suspect SHOULD be arrested in no time? Why? Because I'm SURE the victim knows where the suspect is at or knows someone that can track him down. The problem is, IF there is more to the story that the victim is not revealing to PWCPD, it WILL come out. And by the way, "home of an acquaintance without an invitation" = HOME INVASION!!!!!
