Police: Armed Robber Stole Cell Phone

Two men walking near Cass Brook Lane and River Ridge Boulevard were robbed at gunpoint on Oct. 11.

An armed robber in a group of masked men stole a cell phone from two pedestrians Thursday evening, Prince William County Police said.

A 33-year-old man and a 28-year-old man were out walking near River Ridge Boulevard and Cass Brook Lane around 8:49 p.m., when the incident occurred. A group of five or six men wearing cloths over their faces then approached the two victims, police spokesman Officer Jonathan Perok said in a press release.

One of the men in the group pulled out a handgun, demanded property, and stole the 28-year-old's cell phone. The other victim then flagged down a passing car and called police. The suspects fled on foot. Neither victim reported any injuries.
