Masked Burglar Assaults Homeowner in Basement

A burglar recently assaulted a Lake Ridge homeowner after the homeowner discovered the burglar in his home, according to police.

The owner of a house on the 12000 block of Stallion Court reported finding an unknown, masked man in his basement just before 7 p.m. Nov. 10. The man assaulted the homeowner, then fled on foot, the homeowner said.

The victim reported minor injuries. Police said there were no signs of forced entry into the home, and they believe the burglar entered through an unlocked door. 

Very little description of the burglar was available, but he was described as having a medium build and wearing a grey sweater, mask, white shoes and blue jeans.
