Man Steals Cell From Teen Waiting in Line at Chipotle

The man grabbed the cell phone out of her hands and fled on foot.

A man recently stole a cell phone from a teenager standing in line at a local restaurant, Prince William County Police said.

The 16-year-old girl reported that she was standing in line at the Chipotle on the Prince William Parkway, in the Potomac Mills area, when the man grabbed the cell out of her hands. The man ran out a nearby door and fled the area on foot. The girl did not report any injuries. Police responded to the incident on Thursday at 3:25 p.m.

The man was described as between 17-25 years old, about 5-foot-10, black, approximately 150 pounds, with a thin build and shoulder-length black dreadlocks. He had tattoos on the back of both hands and had a goatee. He was wearing a black T-shirt, a dark colored baseball cap and baggy jeans.

And no one thought to try and chase the guy down? At 150lbs, he couldn't have been TOO SCARY. No one saw the car he got into or the way he ran? I wouldn't be surprised if the girl actualy KNEW the guy and told the police her phone was stolen so she could get a new one from mommy and daddy.
