Man Reportedly Fails to Rob Two Men at Gunpoint

No one was injured and no items were stolen.

Despite threatening his alleged victims at gunpoint, a man that reportedly entered an occupied car in Dale City on Christmas Eve still failed to rob the two occupants, Prince William County police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said.Β

The victims, both 19-year-old Woodbridge men, told police that they were driving down Lynhurst Drive, and pulled over in the area of 13700 Lynhurst Drive. As the vehicle sat there, a strange man reportedly got into the back seat of the car, pulled out a handgun, and demanded money.Β

The alleged attempted robbery failed, however, Perok said. After a short struggle with the two 19-year-olds, the man ran away from the car, and the victims reported no injuries or missing property.
