Man Charged in Dale City Residential Burglary

The following information comes from the Prince William County Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned it does not indicate a conviction.

A Dale City man has been charged in a residential burglary in the 4700 block of Kirkdale Road. 

A homeowner had previously reported to police that a burglary occurred between 9:15 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. on July 17. 

"There were no signs of forced entry," said Prince William County Police public information officer Jonathan Perok. "Entry is believed to have been made through an unsecured door. Miscellaneous items, valued around $200, were reported missing."

On July 21, police arrested a suspect that the believe was involved in the burglary. Brand Kyle Helms, 24, of Dale City is charged with burglary and grand larceny in conjunction with the July 17 burglary, police said. His court date is unavailable but he is being held on a $10,000 secured bond, police said.
