Man Arrested on Child Pornography Charges
Police said the man sent child pornography to an undercover detective. The following arrest information was provided by the Prince William County police department. It does not indicate a conviction.
A Dale City man was arrested Thursday after police said he sent child pornography to an undercover detective.
Timothy George Melton, 54, of 14359 Shaw Ct., was charged with distribution of child pornography. Prince William County police obtained a warrant and searched Melton's home after an Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force told PWC PD that Melton had sent child pornography to an undercover detective via the internet.
Police seized computers at Melton's home.

Melton was held on a $5,000 secured bond. His court date has not been announced.
