Driver Ditches Car After Police Pursuit
Prince William Police unable to locate driver, who fled after officers pulled his or her vehicle over.
A driver fled Saturday after being pulled over for a suspected DUI near the Prince William County Parkway, leading to a police chase, Prince William County Police said.
As the officer was walking to the vehicle at 11:22 p.m. Nov. 17 near Telegraph Road, the driver sped off. Officers pursued the vehicle onto Hillendale Drive, then onto Dale Boulevard, where they lost sight of the car.
Officers checked area streets, then found the car on the 13900 block of Gum Lane.

Police said the car had apparently struck another parked vehicle on Hillendale Drive while the driver was fleeing.
Police said they do not believe the car was stolen. However, they were unable to locate the driver.
