Dale City Volunteer Fire Crews Help Respond to Woodbridge House Fire
Crews contained the fire in the vacant house in about 15 minutes early Friday morning.
Crews from the Dale City Volunteer Fire Department joined the Occoquan-Woodbridge-Lorton VFD to just before 1 a.m. Friday.
The fire was reported at a townhouse at 14825 Winding Loop in Woodbridge. OWL VFD spokeswoman Rebecca Barnes said engine 512 arrived on scene four minutes after the fire was reported. The flames were contained to the basement and first floor, and crews had the fire contained within 15 minutes, Barnes said.
Barnes said crews checked the building and determined it was vacant. There were no injuries, and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
