Dale City Man Charged With Strangulation, Assault and Battery
Alimamy Fornah, 25, of Dale City, was charged with strangulation and assault and battery.
A Dale City man tried to strangle a Dumfries woman after they got into an argument Saturday evening, Prince William County Police said.
Alimamy Fornah, 25, of Cloverdale Road in Dale City, was charged with strangulation and assault and battery.
Police responded to the incident on the 15100 block of Cloverdale Road on Oct. 20 at 9:35 p.m. The 26-year-old woman reported that she was involved in an argument with Fornah when it escalated, and he assaulted her. Police said that he then tried to choke her.

The woman was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Fornah's court date was set for Dec. 19. He was held on a $5,000 secured bond.
