Dale City Man Charged with Shooting into House

A Dale City man has been charged with shooting into a house in Dumfries on Jan. 13.

Police have arrested a Dale City man and charged him with shooting into a house in Dumfries on Jan. 13.

A Dumfries woman reported to police on Jan. 13 that an acquaintance had fired a gunshot at her house after an argument between the two escalated. Police investigating the incident identified the suspect as Johnathon Davon Coleman, 20, of 13711 Palm Rd. in Dale City.

On Monday, police stopped Coleman after he left his home and arrested him. Police searched Coleman's home and the home of a friend at 5016 Barnacle Pl. in Dumfries. Prince William County Police spokesman Jonathan Perok said that police found evidence pertaining to the shooting incident at the Dumfries home.

Coleman is charged with two counts of shooting into an occupied dwelling. He is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 13. He is being held without bond.
