Dale City Man Charged With Abduction
Police say the man held a woman against her will during a fight. The following arrest information was supplied by the Prince William County police department. It does not indicate a conviction.
A Dale City man was charged with abduction after police said he held a woman against her will Friday during a fight.
Police police responded to 14600 block of Balsam St in Woodbridge at 1:04 p.m. on Friday for a domestic dispute. Police said that Raeshaun Jeffre Peter Brown, 23, of 6185 Preston Ct., held a 26-year-old Woodbridge woman in a basement room against her will and struck her in the leg.
The victim told police she got away from Brown and into another room in the house, but Brown forced his way in and dragged her down the stairs. Brown left the house and was later arrested without incident. The victim suffered minor injuries.

Brown was charged with abduction and assault and battery. He was held on a $2,500 secured bond. Court date information was unavailable.
