Dale City Man Accused of Strangling Woman
Brian Lawrence Taylor, 31, is charged with strangulation and domestic assault and battery.
A Dale City man faces charges after an acquaintance told police he choked her during an argument.
Brian Lawrence Taylor, 31, is charged with strangulation and domestic assault and battery. The victim reported minor injuries.
The 27-year-old Woodbridge woman reported on Dec. 31 at 4 p.m. that she and Taylor were involved in an argument on the 13700 block of Kaywood Drive, when he allegedly began to choke her.

"During the encounter, the accused assaulted the victim and, at one point, began to choke her. A family member arrived at the residence and was able to help the victim contact police," Officer Jonathan Perok, a spokesman for the Prince William County Police Department, said in a press release.
Officers arrested Taylor after an investigation. He was held without bond.
