Crime Blotter: Sump Pump Stolen From Pool Store

An undisclosed amount of cash was also reported missing.

A $250 sump pump was stolen from a swimming pool store in Woodbridge Thursday, Prince William County Police said. 

The owner of Playtime Pools on Jefferson Davis Highway reported around 10:35 a.m. that a burglary had occurred between 10 a.m. that day and 6 p.m. the night before. Police said there were no signs of forced entry, and the burglar likely entered through an unlocked side door. 

An undisclosed amount of cash was also reported missing.
