Carjacking Suspect Turns Himself In

Suspect turned himself in for arrest on Thursday.

Police said Friday a Manassas man wanted on charges of a had turned himself in for arrest.

Prince William County Police said Eddrick Dandrea Fitzgerald, 30, of 9633 Grant Ave. in Manassas, encountered a 28-year-old Dale City man he knew at Wal-Mart on Jan. 21. Fitzgerald allegedly followed the man to his home in the 4700 block of South Park Ct., where the two got into an argument.

Police said Fitzgerald threatened the victim because he would not let Fitzgerald use his vehicle. After being threatened, the victim eventually gave Fitzgerald his keys. Fitzgerald fled the scene, and police were unable to locate him.

Fitzgerald turned himself in on Thursday. He is charge with carjacking. His court date and bond information were not released.
