Parks Holding Summer Job Fairs

Two of the job fairs will be in Dale City.

Those interested in summer jobs with the Prince William County Park system will have a chance to apply at a series of events in coming weeks.

On Saturday, Feb. 11, a Lifeguard job fair will be held at the Dale City Recreation Center from 5 to 8 p.m. Applicants should bring their swimsuit (one piece swimsuits only) and be prepared for an interview and a swim test.

A job fair for the SplashDown water park in Manassas will be held on Saturday, Feb. 25 at the Ben Lomond Community Center, 10501 Copeland Drive in Manassas. The job fair will be open for lifeguard positions from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and for all other positions from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The last job fair will be back at the Dale City Recreation Center on Saturday, March 3 from 9 a.m. to noon. It will be open to applicants for all summer staff positions at all Prince William County Parks and Recreation locations.

Those interested should download a job application from www.pwcparks.org and bring it to one of the job fairs. You can see a list of positions available on the website under the "Employment" link. For more information, call  (703) 792-7060.
